I've been a doodler ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon, but my true calling to graphic design came in my high school years.  Two years in Journalism working on the school newspaper and yearbook doing layout design and serving as Art Director threw fuel on a fire that hasn't stopped burning since.  Design is my passion, and I'm always learning new techniques and honing my skills to take projects to the next level.

Upon receiving my degree in Visual Communications from Brown College in Minnestoa, I served as Head Graphic Designer at print shops across the country, from Louisiana, to Minnesota, to California. Through these experiences I built a solid foundation in the development and implementation of logo designs, branding and business systems, and marketing materials that cover everything from postcards and brochures to vehicle wraps and signage.

Most recently, Visionary Comics has given me the opportunity to journey into the world of comics, where I'm putting my design skills to use doing lettering, logo design, layout, and pre-press.

Through all of these experiences I have developed skills that can be utilized by a wide array of clientele.

PRINT SHOP ASSISTANCE

Having worked at a number of print shops over the past 10 years, I am aware of the needs and challenges facing these shops.  I am well-versed in making sure that files not only look great, but are print-ready as well.  Has a customer supplied you with artwork that's not up to snuff for printing?  No worries, I specialize in vector recreation. 

SMALL BUSINESS/BRANDING

Whether you're just starting a new business, or your established business needs updating, branding is essential.  I can assist you in creating a logo and look and implementing that new look throughout your promo materials.  If you already work with a print shop, I can supply you with the necessary files.  If you don't currently work with a print shop, I can produce business cards, banners, signage, and anything else you need.
